My Path

I believe we all have a path and sometimes life takes us in unexpected directions that may cause pain or discomfort. Although it may not be easily understood while in the trenches, this pain can bring peace and definition to our walk. If we learn to embrace the destination and accept what we cannot control, we can learn to see how our paths are not of mere coincidence and in fact have meaning. This overall understanding can bring healing for the mind, body, and spirit.

I take a collaborative, strength-based approach with my clients. I use a combination of Mindfulness, CBT, Creative Modalities and Animal Assisted Therapy to help individuals overcome life’s challenges and hardships. I am also a Clinical Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional. I have found when a person is in sync with the mind-body connection, one is able to handle tough situations with love, empathy, compassion, forgiveness and self-acceptance.

Prior to private practice, I worked in the public-school system and various mental health treatment settings . I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, young adults and families. My specialties include anxiety, depression, spiritual health, women’s issues, relationship issues, school related problems, life transitions/adjustments, parenting skills, communication and conflict resolution,

Who I Help

I am a good fit for those that suffer from anxiety/depression, going through life transitions and those seeking to better their spiritual, mental and physical health and have not found their path yet.

How I Do It

Therapy can come in many forms. I find the best approach for the individual through exploration and creative modalities, which can lead to other treatment approaches like MBCT, CBT, artistic exploration, and more.
